In This House
"In This House" is an immersive contemporary dance theater work that is loosely inspired by Laura Kieler’s personal tragedies that inspired Ibsen's play “A Doll’s House.”
This piece explores themes of family structures, gender roles, and materialism through a queer lens.
The piece features original music, costumes, and video art projection. Music by Dan Carey Bailey, costumes designed by PhaeMonae Brooks, and video art projection by Sean Dahlman
Premiered June 2024 at Balzer Theater
