I'm so excited to be creating "Fractal" a new work that I started earlier in 2024 with Dance Canvas's Palette project. I'm grateful for this opportunity to present new work at the Rialto and the opportunity to rehearse at the High Museum as part of their Dance Lab Initiative.
about "Fractal":
This abstract contemporary dance work takes inspiration from psychedelic visual art such as Howie Wonder's optical illusion, geometric landscape collages and other surrealist art. "Fractal" explores themes such as dance as an optical illusion, community inspiring individualism, and immediacy.
